I just finished reading "Neverwhere" and would like to produce some "fan art" in its honour!

I returned the book already so I cannot use that to reference the appearances of the characters. How frustrating.

I was wondering if anyone could give me a description of how the following characters look based on the description given in the book:

Marquis de Carabas
Angel of Islington
Mr. Croup
Mr. Vandermar

I like the way the Marquis was drawn in the graphic novel but I don't think I'll draw him like that.

One scene I wanted to depict was when
Marquis is being crucified in essence by Mr. Croup and Mr. Vandermar. What materials was the cross made out of?
Thanks!

why not reread and see what you can figure out from there? also, try having a watch of the original tv series on which the book was based, and see how that strikes you.

Limertilly: A pagan deity forgotten by man and therefore banished to the realms of memory and darkness now remembered by a young girl in downtown L.A. in the form of a dream and therefore freed to reap your revenge on the people who discarded you, thereby forcing said girl to learn to use her innate yet awesome powers as a soothsayer to gather forces of the Earth to defy you and once more banish you to your cold, cold prisoooooon
