I'm sad.

Pat Roach just died

RIP Bomber, you always were my favourite character and seemed like a really cool person.

I saw a London Symphony Orchestra concert in Nashville two or three years ago that Goldsmith was supposed to conduct. But he couldn't because of bad health...

That sucks, Jenalou. My condolences.

"Cynicism masquerades as wisdom, but it is the farthest thing from it. Because cynics don't learn anything. Because cynicism is a self-imposed blindness, a rejection of the world because we are afraid it will hurt us or disappoint us. Cynics always say no. But saying 'yes' begins things. Saying 'yes' is how things grow. Saying 'yes' leads to knowledge."

Thanks, it's weird being back from vacation and not having him here. But it was really quick. He was at the vet less than 4 hours before it was over. Turns out he probably had some sort of heart problem that can't be diagnosed by x-ray, but would explain the seizures he's had off and on for a couple years that we couldn't get diagnosed...phooey. The stress of moving wouldn't have been good for him, so I have to believe this was all for the best...
