I am sad. Some of my earlier memories were him chasing monsters in the wearing the reporter's hat.

I am also sad about Don Knotts too.

I can't remember if I knew him better as Barney Fife or Mr. Furley.

You are a Confectioner. Who can take a sunrise and sprinkle it with dew? Actually, that's Bob The Enchanter, two doors down on the left. But you make delectable treats, which is no simple feat considering Oompa Loompas won't be invented for three centuries. Not only do you delight with your sweets, but you've paved the way for a new profession: dentistry!

Most of you will have never of heard of Peter. Peter was one of the greatest footballers to have ever played for Chelsea. And it's his fault that I support Chelsea. When I was three he told me to, so I do.

Peter was discovered by my grandfather and was a friend to me and my family from then on. Always smiling, always happy to spend time with you and have a kickabout on the park. It's a hell of a shock. The last we heard from him was a get well soon card for my father, and a promise not to laugh at Arsenals decline.

He will be missed by all who saw him play, all who appreciate a sportsman who enjoys their game, and all who knew him.

He starred in Oliver, the first movie I saw in a theatre. But I remember him better for his role in H.R. Pufnstuf.

The Wizard of Os. I only wish I had the opportunity to see him play.

Sad to hear about Dana Reeve today. Gotta be tough on their son (who is 13, if the article is correct) to have both his parents die like that...

I don't think anyone posted this yet. Kirby Puckett has passed away from complications after suffering a stroke. Puckett was a Hall of Fame outfielder for the Twins for ten years before glaucoma forced his retirement. He was a fan favorite, whether or not you liked the Twins. He will be missed.

There was a thread that was started before Kirby died, asking for prayers and well wishes for him, and then a few of us reminsced a bit afterwards.

There's a collective sorrow about his death out here in the twin cities. I was never a big sports fan, but I still liked the guy. Sad to see him go.
