I prefer to live in a country that's small, and old, and where no one would ever have the NERVE to wear a cape in public, whether they could leap tall buildings in a single bound or not.

trolls are like pigeons..keep feeding them and they keep coming back and shitting in your street.

You are a Confectioner. Who can take a sunrise and sprinkle it with dew? Actually, that's Bob The Enchanter, two doors down on the left. But you make delectable treats, which is no simple feat considering Oompa Loompas won't be invented for three centuries. Not only do you delight with your sweets, but you've paved the way for a new profession: dentistry!

Rae's grandma on her dad's side passed away this morning. She had been deteriorating quite a bit over the last year or so, but it was still rather a sudden loss. A week and a half ago, over the 10th & 11th, she was moved out of her assisted living apt. and into a nursing home. Then last week Rae's dad and mom, and dad's three brothers all met in Springfield to help clean out the apartment and spend time with grandma and help her get situated. Besides a few instances of 'grandma being grandma' (she could be quite ornery) they all had a really great time. First time all the brothers had been together since grandpa's funeral (10 years now?).

When my in-laws passed back through on Sunday, Rae made the comment that grandma will probably die next week while she's in Dallas. Her mom replied, "Oh no, she's not that bad yet. Several weeks, maybe a couple of months, but not that soon." Then she called this morning to let Rae know.

Two things: One, Rae was never the closest to this grandma (though she loved her grandpa dearly and was so heartbroken when he died, and that it was right before our wedding). Still, over the last few years grandma had softened, and we really enjoyed our times with her when we visited. Still, when the reality bites, it can be rather unexpected and hit quite hard, regardless of past feelings. I'm glad we got to see her at Easter.

Two, grandma knew she was getting worse. She knew it, but was holding on for one last something. That something happened when all four of her boys came to visit her for the week. They had a great time. It was a thermal, it lifted her up, gave her the best time she'd had in years. When it was over, when the winds slowed and she drifted slowly back to reality, she didn't have enough left to keep going. She didn't need to. She'd had one last ride and it put a smile on her face and made her happy. Her boys lifted her up and carried her for that week, and afterwards she could finally let go.

I'm alright. I miss her, she was a good rat. But, she was just lying in her cage not moving or anything... She was healthy and active up til the end...

You are a Bookholder. To prompt, or...LINE! (not to prompt) --not to prompt. That is the question. Whether t'is nobler to suffer the slings and arrows of a bad memory, or to take arms against a sea of textual deviations, and...LINE! (by opposing) --by opposing them...LINE! (end) --end...LINE! (them) --end them...LINE! (to prompt, to correct; no more; and by a correction to say we end the heart-ache of a really terrible performance) You didn't have to give me the whole thing! I know it!
