As I'm sure you already know, there's no right way and no wrong way to process a bereavement. You feel what you feel.

My goodness, M is big! And gorgeous! And TM is looking very fit! Also HUGE KITCHEN!

(It's been a while since someone hijacked the death thread. I'm doing the board a service, here. *cough*)

then talking with my mom about family stuff.
the funeral is next week friday.

SO.
M is massive and brilliant, TM is extremely fit and feeling good. And huge kitchen is also living room/main room of apartment, there's a good-sized bathroom and a bedroom too. Smile
Thanks for the hugs everyone.

Gillian Howie

Head of Philosophy at the University of Liverpool.
She fought cancer successfully twice, but lost the third battle. She was brave, intelligent, kind, friendly and firm. She was one of the people who helped me carry on when the funding for my PhD disappeared. She was also one who stood behind me when I finally decided to withdraw from studying. She is and always will be an inspiration.

Wayfarer. I'm sorry. That's sad. She sounded such a good person, for you and everyone at uni, and her family. Hopefully she'll never leave you and you'll always learn from everything she taught.

And Domi. Richard Griffiths was a wonderful actor and seemed like such a lovely man. So sad.

You are a Bookholder. To prompt, or...LINE! (not to prompt) --not to prompt. That is the question. Whether t'is nobler to suffer the slings and arrows of a bad memory, or to take arms against a sea of textual deviations, and...LINE! (by opposing) --by opposing them...LINE! (end) --end...LINE! (them) --end them...LINE! (to prompt, to correct; no more; and by a correction to say we end the heart-ache of a really terrible performance) You didn't have to give me the whole thing! I know it!

Limertilly: A pagan deity forgotten by man and therefore banished to the realms of memory and darkness now remembered by a young girl in downtown L.A. in the form of a dream and therefore freed to reap your revenge on the people who discarded you, thereby forcing said girl to learn to use her innate yet awesome powers as a soothsayer to gather forces of the Earth to defy you and once more banish you to your cold, cold prisoooooon

If anyone is prompted to do something, this excellent site - Don't Hate, Donate - is a kind of anti-flowers site, where you can donate to one of the organisations helping Thatcher's victims. It's a great idea, and much more constructive than a lot of the guff going around.

my kitty pinky.....
we said goodbye today about 3:45. she was 16 years old and in her long life, she managed to kill countless skeins of yarn, purr enough to make it to the end of the universe and spread so much love that there isn't math around that can calculate how far reaching her love went. incidentally, she has also been named the first official state cat of illinois for model illinois government by our Governor Sullivan......she lived a good life, and made ours inexorably better......may she chase birds and play with mice...

The 75 Delirians?
Umm well, number 2 is off sick, 38 is suffering from a mild case of sanity, and 74 has

run off to the world of men to spread sparkly gigglepops to their drab civilization.
Is she nuts?
Oh yes, she scored very highly on the entrance exam!
