Judith Krug, librarian extraordinaire and founder of Banned Books Week.

I went to a presentation she did a few years ago with the sole goal of getting to meet her. I'm glad I went. She was a superstar in Libraryland.

I got to meet Judith too! She came to UNH for an event and stopped by the place I used to work at - we supplied her library with books, apparently - and she was a very cool person. Quiet, at least when I met her, but that was at the end of a long trip.

I heard this on R4 this morning - complaints should be made! What an utter, utter sweetie.

(There'll be a really good celestial R4 IM session/drinking bringe/card game going on, when Humpf realises he has someone interesting come to stay.)

That, and brownies, puns, recipes involving knitting, and 'the Doctor vs. Stephen Fry Celebrity Deathmatch' webisodes.
