No idea what thread to put this in so I started a new one!

So, reminded that our own DM is GETTING MARRIED in two weeks, I went digging through the archive for what I said to him when he was still single. I couldn't find it. The gist of it was that one day he was going to be with an amazing woman who appreciated and loved him. Was I right, or was I right?!

I also found this, from my first Project:

quote:
Dark Mark - *hugs* You made me feel welcome and got me through so many rough mornings, you will never know! I look forward to seeing where you go in this world. I won't say anything else because I know you wouldn't believe me. :P

I also found the Abuse Weeble thread. *glares at DM* Razz

Liliaharas, I haven't had the chance or good fortune to get to know you well. I am so so happy for you and so very pleased that you and DM are together.

*hugs* and congrations!

Ah, well do I remember the days when Mark was all, "Waily waily no girl will ever want to be with me waily waily!"

And now look at the two of you Smile I'm so very pleased for you both!

I feel I have a lot of responsibility here for DM's happiness a lot of the board has been waiting a while.

This is one of the things that made me love Mark (From the Things Heard at Work Thread):

quote:
quote:
Hannah: So Mark, how did the move go?

Me: Good. With a little work I can fit my existing stuff in there AND have room for two more bookshelves.

Hannah: No, Mark! What about when you take a girl home? They'll not want to see loads of books, and look at your Star Trek collection!

Me: I'm not a Trekkie, I'm a historian!

Hannah: That's not as bad...but it's dead people!

Me: Any girlfriend of mine is going to be into dead people!

Hannah: ...

Me: ...In a GOOD way.

ps. Now he is both Trekkie and Historian Smile I like to think I helped

I'm really happy to see this Mark. The Terranigma Sadness should only be video game sadness. I'm glad that you are happy now and found that happiness in both yourself and Liliaharas.

Congratulations. Smile

I seem to recall years ago Mark that I predicted you would find your perfect 'geek girl' Big Grin .

I'm happy you two have found each other and I'm thrilled to have had the pleasure of seeing you together in the real world. Have a lovely lovely wedding.

Now *that* brings back memories. Utterly hilarious memories.

To echo what has been said above, I'm so pleased you two have found each other, and here's to many more years of happiness ahead!

It's so nice when you can say "I told you so" and it's a good thing.

I'm so happy for both of you. Lilharas, you got a good one (and good job making him a Trekkie!), and Dark Mark, you are a lucky bastard that you found that girl (and good job making her a Whoovian!).

I'm so pleased that you found each other and noticed how well your puzzle pieces fit together. (And I mean that as re: your personalities, not as re: private sexy times. Mostly).

I'm looking forward to the pictures!

To completely hijack the thread: I remember that thread and also that I was never any good at it. I'm not one for abuse and would much rather serve some tea and scones and brownies and sit in the corner and knit. Smile

To bring it back on topic, I am still so very happy for you both and glad to Boardies are going and hope that everyone takes LOTS of pictures.

*good weather vibes for the special day*
