I think this might be the week Warner gets hurt.

A conversation with JP:

quote:
me: I'm thinking I may pick up Shaun Hill or Kerry Collins on Saturday in case Warner gets hurt this weekend.
So I don't have to fight for a backup QB on waivers next week.

*JP adds Shaun Hill*
jp: Yeah, Collins has some nice matchups coming up
Jets, Lions, Browns, TExans

me: Oh, you suck.
I'll remember this, buddy.

In my defense, I'd been talking about this yesterday with Royko and just hadn't had time to pull the trigger. You just reminded me is all. Now, that's not to say it isn't funny or anything, that's just my defense.

Besides, the QB you really want is Rosenfels. Since I've owned him at least once this season, he should do well for you in spot play.

And frankly, I don't think anything is going to happen to Warner this weekend, so you're not going to have to worry about it. The Cards at home are going to shock the G-men this weekend. They'll protect Warner, get theirs through the air, force Eli to play catch-up and will intercept him more than once.

Lan! Cincy scored first! And now it's tied. So much for the Steelers establishing the run.

I know. *shrugs* But I can hope. Wink
Well, the Rams really do suck THAT bad, so it shouldn't have been that game giving you hope; however today's game, even in a loss, should have given you a bit more hope.

Crazy-ass weekend. Two games cracked 80 total points scored. Two more were over 70.

Two more weeks of the Fantasy regular season and 7 teams are still in the running for the playoffs.

Royko has essentially locked up the #1 seed with a 21-3 record. Amy has locked up the wildcard with a 17-7 record. Technically, she could snag the #1 seed if Royko loses out (0-4) and she wins out (4-0) and overtakes him in points scored. No matter what, they'll be the #1 and 4 seed and play each other in the first round. Chad and Beth put up good numbers in a very tough division.

Tong's Kin is leading his division with a 14-10 record, but could be overtaken by Lan or JP who sit at 12-12 and 11-13. JP's road is tougher since Tong's Kin plays Lan so one of them will get a win there. Defending champ Nyssa has been eliminated from the playoffs. Frown

I have a 3 game lead over Tong with a 15-9 record. Tong is at 12-12 and plays me in the last week so he could have some control of his destiny. Munk and Merlin put up respectable 9-15 records.

I've had a fun year. I hope everyone is enjoying the PPR format. It's almost playoff time for us! Who's gonna get the ring?

There are 3 games tomorrow. Make sure your lineups are set!

And why exactly did I leave McNabb on the bench? C**p! But what's worse of all is that EA will beat me! Frown

Look on the bright side - the Niners beat a team with a winning record. (Granted, a team in free-fall, but still . . . .)

Yes, now that was surprising. And fun, too: glad I ain't a Bills' fan! The only problem I have with the win is that it's a step away from a really high draft choice. It's not like the Niners ain't short of ... say ... 50 decent players!

Note to Mike Singletary: no more development *projects*, please, just draft decent players that can deliver.

If you weren't in my league my record would look much more impressive, damnit! Razz

Poor Lan has the third highest Points For and the third highest Points Against, and needs to win out this weekend while hoping that Tong can take out his cousin.
