Uh, I just checked the site and it says draft is in 6 hours 30 minutes. I thought the draft was in 3 hours 30 minutes?

It says 3 hours 30 minutes on my computer...probably a time zone thing with the site.

The draft won't start until I hit the "start" button and that will happen in 3 hours 30 minutes.

The countdown is just something extra not connected to the draft. I can set a countdown for the start of the season or the start of the playoffs.

Lovely:
quote:
Fred Taylor arrested Saturday: The Miami Herald reports that Jaguars RB Fred Taylor was arrested in Miami Beach and charged with disorderly conduct. Taylor was not jailed, instead released on his own recognizance with a promise to appear in court. Taylor is expected to start for Jacksonville again this season and be part of a potent 1-2 rushing tandem with Maurice Jones-Drew.

Damn:
quote:
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jaguars offensive tackle Richard Collier was shot and critically wounded outside an apartment building early Tuesday as he and a former Jacksonville teammate waited for two women they had met at a nightclub, authorities said.

Collier, 26, and former Jaguars defensive end Kenneth Pettway were waiting in a Cadillac Escalade when a gunman fired into the vehicle, said Jacksonville Sheriff's Office spokesman Ken Jefferson. Collier was shot several times, but it wasn't clear where he was hit.

One might start thinking that Cadillac Escalades are the problem here. They seem to be bullet magnets.

Dude! I couldn't click on the link because of sports filter at work. I found it on another site. Tatem Bell?!? You got caught on the security camera.

What a tool.

The Detroit Free Press had an article with reader comments. This was my favorite.

Go Chie-
Go Ra-
hmm....

Go Wild Cat(fish)!!

Actually, I think I'm hoping the Broncos can represent the AFC West this year (since my Chiefs can't), and I'm rooting for the Jets because I want Brett to do well. Beyond that I'm just hoping teams like the Jags, Panthers, Texans and Browns step up to keep things interesting since we figure the Steelers, NFC East, Saints, Colts and Pats will be at the top.

I am cautiously excited about the Bengals and the Valets.

I am working today so I can't watch any games but I can listen to the radio and check the internet.

*cheers*

WHY IS FANBALL NOT WORKING!?! GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

*Cautious excitement turns to bitter disappointment*

It is going to be a lonnnnggg...... season for this Bengal fan. At least they don't have to worry about those pesky playoffs.

JP and Tongster are kicking my butt.

Uh, no, there is no buttkicking going on by me. You still have 2 players to go. Me, not so much. With you having a RB and WR yet to go, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
