As expected from Zak Snyder, the look is spot-on awesome. It remains to be seen if the movie will actually be any good.

I still don't buy Ozymandias... looks like a little kid.

That. Was. Awesome.

Oh. God.

Wanna see. Wanna wanna wanna see!!!

Those scenes are straight out of the graphics - the ones with Dr. Manhattan rising and the one with M's citadel on Mars. Oh I hope they are faithful to Dan Dreiberg's paunch. That pleased me ever so much.

...and and and Smashing Pumpkins!

Ozymandias does look a little underwhelming, but it captures a lot of the rest of the book very, very well. I'm keen to see how well, but only time will tell.

I love the look. But the way the one line we hear is delivered... I don't like it. I hope it's a good adaption though.

I dunno Ozymandias except as a Shelley poem. Frown

but The Watchman trailer indeed looked excellent. and Righteous Kill looked about as good as it ought, considering the cast (ee!). also, my mother's favorite actor (Russell Crowe) and my sister's favorite actor (Leonardo DiCaprio) are going to be in a movie together (Body of Lies) that neither one of them will actually want to see.

Amusing that the SP song is actually the one from the Batman & Robin soundtrack.

Doc Manhattan is wearing briefs.

Trying to get the whole storyline in one film is going to be nuts.

and in the preview you see him in full nude, but his genitals are hidden. His inner light seems to spring from his groin area.

Also the group is on the new entertainment weekly. I bought it. Haven't read it yet. Mostly just wanted the pics for my collage at work.

DEATH RACERS!

Not appropriate for work, or families, or anything really.

I'd be fine with him being in briefs for the entire movie. It doesn't really detract from the character at all and it's a lot more efficient that an attempt to hide his groin that would inevitably result in comparisons to Austin Powers. That said, he is nude at some points, just more glowing than I thought.

And there are two lines spoken in the trailer. Which line reading didn't you like? I rather liked Rorschach's delivery. Melodramatic, overblown and petulant, rather like the character.

Sorry, only noticed Rorschach's the first time I watched. That's the one I meant. I guess you're right about it fitting the character. It seems great in the comics, but actually hearing it delivered like that. Blah.

And according to earlier rumours, it might be in 3D too.

No links, they're rumours.

Saw that trailer last last. Keanu is looking a bit plasticky, which is enhances his alieness, I guess.

The Watchmen trailer looked great. Dr. Manhattan's briefs looked better on the large screen.
