unlike pkitty, i have no shame
they filled bits of Superman: That New One With Kevin Spacey here. i didn't see the filming, but people have worked on it. Lex Luthor has a Kryptonite castle, apparently. i could probably dig up more spoilers if i asked around |

I believe it was the 1st & 2nd crusades (that they were researching-11th-13th century). Also Scandanavia and Leif Ericson (sp) were being researched. It would make sense that the movie would be taking place in the 50's.

The Search For the Grail Again When Indiana Realizes Aging Sucks.
__________ AJGraeme "As for our common defense, we reject as false the choice between our safety and our ideals. Our Founding Fathers, faced with perils we can scarcely imagine, drafted a charter to assure the rule of law and the rights of man, a charter expanded by the blood of generations. Those ideals still light the world, and we will not give them up for expedience's sake." -Barack Obama "Christianity has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and not tried." - G.K. Chesterton |

well, the last time Ford played Indy, he was 50 years old (in 1950), filmed in 1992ish. So, were he to play Indy again more than a decade later... That puts Indy in the 1960s!

I'd LOVE to see a good Indy 4 movie... I'm just firmly of the opinion that in order to make a good one, you must recast Indy... and give the project to good directors/writers... so, NOT George and Steven..... |

there's a new biopic about June and Johnny Cash that sounds interesting... Letterman was talking to Reese Witherspoon about it. supposed to be good
also looking forward to The Proposition, an Aussie bush Western written and (i think) co-directed by Nick Cave also, Serenity. frothing demand for Serenity |

indeed, Serenity.
I'm not much of a Joaquin Phoenix fan. Not much at all. ****************************************** Me in Rock: This Shirt Is Pants | Mr. Fusion Me in blog: izenmania |

Have you seen the trailer for Johnny Cash? Joaquin is pulling a Jamie Foxx-it's quite eerie how much he sounds like him.
I was excited about King Kong until I saw the trailer. The CGI'd stuff looks CGI'd. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well we all shine on, like the moon and the stars and the sun... Illusions on celluloid My new website! |

I'll be watching the Dylan thing on PBS tonight.
CAL has already seen the Johnny Cash movie, and says it's excellent. She says that both Joaquin and Reese Witherspoon are surprisingly good in their roles. |

Hi everybody! Member |
Saw a preview for DOOM today. It looks awsome, just like the game for the XBox. Comes to theaters October 21, 2005. Wanna see, hypervenalating!

yeah... i've read about it. i'll check it out (and the soundtrack!) when it comes out here on DVD but it seems it covers some of the same ground as 'Don't Look Back', only with less immediate footage god i love Don't Look Back there was a good article on Slate about how all this stuff focuses on 60's Dylan... which is a shame, since i count 'Blood on the Tracks' and his two most recent albums as some of the best stuff he's done.... (thought most of its good) |
