Honestly Dweller.... I'm getting quite vexed by your inability to use a more populistic vocabulary on a semi-regular basis...
I shall have to aquire a dictionary to thwart my inability to understand your terminology...
*sigh*

Furthermore, i resent my own incapacaty to comprehend any of the terms you fling around indiscriminately, or alternatively, tentatively.

~You are a *Taverner*.
Sometimes patrons want to go where everybody knows their names, though it helps
when half of them are named John. When people want to celebrate, or commiserate,
they gather to your establishment. You provide the atmosphere, the warmth, rum,
and even an ear to bend. Did I mention the rum? Years before the language will be
mangled with terms like facilitator and networking and interpersonal communication,
you've overseen it all, and broken up a few bar fights, to boot.~

The Qwistatz Moderach thing is an ancient Dune reference that I think maybe half a dozen boarders might remember.

So, a couple of nights ago, Graeme and I just finished wrestling, and he and Meadra just finished reading Duck For President for the third time that night. He petted one of the cats and then he and I went into the kitchen, emptied the dishwasher and danced to David Bowie while I washed some pots and pans.

Somewhere around Jean Genie, he tugs on my pant-leg.

Dweller: What is it, buddy?
Graeme: Me happy, daddy, me happy!

*sniff*

I'm sure, but adults are just incapable of giving the totally pure validation of a child, particularly one's own child.

So, they changed the financial support system for mothernity leave so that I can now study during the leave. Before now they would've redused the amount of money I get. Long story. Anyway. So Kasper is starting school with me next week. We only have one course, two two-hour lectures a week (tuesday and wednesday) and some rehersals that I have to attend to (although Joakim can be with him mostly during those) and we'll see how it goes. I'll let you know then. But how many kids can tell that they went to university when they were two months old. Smile

that's great, rea Smile

so you'll take Kasper into class with you, or is there a daycare at the school?

i'm just curious, because in my college there are actually rules against bringing children to class for any reason.

I'm taking him with me.

There is a possibility for temporary day care, but it's not in our campus (our university has severial campus areas and they're all around the city) and they don't take children that young there.

Most of the students in my department are nerd boys who don't have kids. But even in the departments where majority of the students are women I've never heard of a rule like that.

He's much better off as a Batbaby, I'm sure. Although that makes me worry for you and Joaquim if he's truly to follow in Batman's footsteps.
