Lan, I don't know what you did but whatever it was keep doing it. Remember the part-time job (4hr/wk) I was up for? They've restructured the department and have offered me a FULL-TIME job!!! It doesn't start for a few months so there's always a chance they will restructure it away but it looks like I finally have a job 2 years after graduation!

Awesome Weeble!! Big Grin

Mine call this morning did not pan out. It is probably for the best in the long run. I don't think it would have been a good fit, but it still stinks a bit.
I hate not working even more than I hated working. I feel useless.

I am just feeling sorry for myself. Time to roll up my sleeves and keep at it.

Congrats Weeble. Smile

Sorry to hear that Lan. I'm more of a service than sales person myself, even though most of my experience is in retail. Good luck for next time (I know there will be a next time). Smile

I'm trying to write a skills-based CV...

Also, I would like interview vibes for the 16th, please?

Let me catch you up: had an interview today, it went brilliantly, I am impressed by the company and I can see myself here pretty much forever.

How does one negotiate salary with a nonprofit? While I don't want to soak the company, I don't want to put myself in a position later where I'm desperate enough to be vulnerable to being poached by another company (which is why they are hiring right now in the first place, and the company that did the poaching of my predecesor was one of the places I was looking at anyway).

So anyway, wish me luck on landing this and not messing up the second interview and HR stuff.

I've got a job interview myself. Nothing fancy, just a call-center phone agent position, but any job is better than no job. However, who schedules an interview on Friday at 18:00?
