Sorry to hear that Hal. I hope you find something real soon.

I personally have stopped looking for the time being.
I am going to try a 3 month crash course to be certified in something. That is all I am prepared to say about it at the moment. I will say more, if and when I get certified.
I am sure a part time job is in my future, but I want to see how the studying goes first.

*deposits vibes on way out of thread*

With your skill set and background and the area you're living in, that seems like a really good switch.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you, Hal, you deserve better than the shite your current job has put you through!

You are a Bookholder. To prompt, or...LINE! (not to prompt) --not to prompt. That is the question. Whether t'is nobler to suffer the slings and arrows of a bad memory, or to take arms against a sea of textual deviations, and...LINE! (by opposing) --by opposing them...LINE! (end) --end...LINE! (them) --end them...LINE! (to prompt, to correct; no more; and by a correction to say we end the heart-ache of a really terrible performance) You didn't have to give me the whole thing! I know it!

omg, omg, omg...I might get to actually go on a JOB INTERVIEW!!! 2 days during the week, one day per weekend, which is okay because that's less childcare to pay for. It's temporary, at least at the moment, but it would get me SOMETHING on my resume more relevant to the career change I'm trying to make. Wish me luck!

I GOT A JOB Big Grin !

A call/contact center (I don't know how you call them over there) crappy job, but no job is worse than none at all. I'll still be hunting for a good one with a decent schedule and better payment, but still YAY Big Grin
