I've been subscribing to some Finnish TV channels over the internet, and today they sent me a campaign offer for a free one week trial period to be given to any (and as far as I understood, an unlimited number of) friends who'd like to try it out.

There really shouldn't be a catch - I don't think you even have to enter any payment information, just sign up and you get to watch 8 glorious, ugric channels for 7 days. (Yeah, I'm sure you guys who used to live in Finland especially miss the TV. ) They have of course lots of American shows, too, with a few movies thrown in, all with Finnish subtitles. And everything saved for viewing whenever you feel like you haven't quite had your daily dose of double consonants and agglutination yet.

I'm sounding like a (bad) marketing campaign, so I guess I should at least refrain from posting the link here. PM me if you want me to send it to you. I can also talk you through the signing up ("Käyttäjätunnus", anyone?) but after that, you're on your own. Almost all the movie titles are translated, too, so you probably won't know what you'll be watching until it starts.
