100% success rate sounds rather disturbing?

And I don't know if it will make you feel better fionchadd but on average 1 in 5 people suffer from mental illness at some point in their lives.

I did a poll on this board a few years ago and those results were closer to 1 in 2, rather strange in and of itself. But there are many here who have been through what you are going through, are still there or have managed to come out the other side.

*hugs*

I'm so sorry I could n't post sooner. I'm glad you're still here and I hope that now things will move forward for you.
You know, that if you ever need anything, we are all here.

And thanks to theirishboy for posting. That's not an easy thing to do, and he did it very well.

Sorry about that long post Fion - don't know what's got into me. Hope you are ok. And yes, Hal, 100% may be scary, but I think that's why Frog was impressed (we are a family easily impressed).

I'm late to all of this but:

(1) I'm glad you're okay, Fionchadd! Please don't do that again.

And I hope this does not sound cold or inappropriate, but from a practical standpoint, please don't OD on acetaminophen (paracetemol) again. It's more likely to leave you living miserably with organ failure than to kill you right off. I've seen it. I don't want you to OD on anything, obviously, but out of concern for you I wanted to make sure you know that!

(2) Very glad to meet you, theirishboy! Chat with us again anytime, preferably under better circumstances.

Hannah, I'm late to the game, but *hugs*...I'm so glad that you reached out to a friend before it got too late. I hope you find whatever sense of healing and safety that you need so we can have you around for a long, long time.

so I know I'm shamelessly bumping this thread and I'm sorry, but I just wanted to say that I read through the replies on here every few days at the moment. At first they made me cry, now they're starting to make me smile, and in a while I hope they'll make me realise that I really did quite a stupid thing. I'm not at that stage yet, but I'm hoping I'll get there.

And it really does mean a huge amount to me that you guys care enough to comment, and especially to comment in the way many of you have.

So I just wanted to say thankyou. And that - at the moment - I'm doing better. And that I love you all.
