That really is brilliant.

Rory reminds me of a lot of the British men I know - quiet, calm, seemingly nervous, but if you force them to fight, if you really, really force them, they will kick you in the balls, punch you in the jaw and kick you in ribs on the way down.

You mean the big "Roman" noses? 'Cause I've noticed that a lot in Britain!

'Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: 'we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.'
'How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
'You must be' said the Cat 'or you wouldn't have come here'

Doctor: Excuse me . . .?
House: You stole it from me. (ponders) Funny, in my head that didn't sound nearly that much like a come-on line.
Doctor: That's okay, you're not my type. If I had a type, and I don't think I do. (yanks out IVs, jumps out of bed and starts fiddling with the equipment) Ooo, 21st century, you were so very special. Nobs and widgets and things that go "ping." (whips out the sonic screwdriver) Ooo, lovely things these. This one for blood pressure, this one for heart rate, this one for . . . I don't know, I'm pretty sure I don't have the organ you need for this one, and . . .

(House stabs him in the arm with a needle)

Doctor: Ouuuuuch! You really are heartless.
House: Not completely. That's just a sedative, enough to get you knocked out while we . . .
Doctor: Ooo, a sedative! Watch this.

(The Doctor stands still for a moment, concentrating, then throws his arms wide)

Tadah!
House: Impressive job of not doing anything, you loon. Look, two hearts . . . (pause)
Doctor: Ahhhh . . .
House: Two hearts - you just stopped one of them, didn't you?
Doctor: Two hearts, two circulatory systems, just put all the anesthetic into one side and, whammo, I'm good to go. Unless you have another syringe in which case I may have a bit of an, err, problem.
House: Let me get a nurse. (turns to leave)
Doctor: Nonononono, you can't leave, you need to come with me. There's a medical problem. Well, sort of a medical problem, but not so much with a person as with a thing. A space shippy sort of a thing, except when it decides that it doesn't want to be, which is sort of the problem, and . . . well, it's all very complicated. But then again (leans against the invisible Tardis, which opens) "complicated" is something of a specialty of yours, isn't it.
House: Huh.

I do like writing Doctor Who, though. He's an awful lot of fun.

I like the bit where he falls over himself to stress that he doesn't collect men's pants, because he's not a pervert and doesn't want to feel dirty.

I think it's a fake - when you look at the things said in the Facebook group... I have serious doubts.

First details of Doctor Who: Let’s Kill Hitler released

Simon Brew

Want to know what to expect from the next Doctor Who episode, Let’s Kill Hitler? We’ve got details right here…

Published on Jul 7, 2011

If you want a clue as to when Doctor Who will be returning to our screens for the back six episodes of the current series, then it might just have arrived.

The BBC will be screening the next episode, Let's Kill Hitler, at the Edinburgh International Festival on Friday 26th August. That would point to the planned early September return for the show, given that the first screening generally takes place at least a week before the BBC One debut.

Furthermore, the synopsis for Let's Kill Hitler has also been released, and it reads thus:

"In the desperate search for Melody Pond, the TARDIS crash lands in 1930s Berlin, bringing the Doctor face to face with the greatest war criminal in the Universe. And Hitler. The Doctor must teach his adversaries that time travel has responsibilities - and in so doing, learns a harsh lesson in the cruellest warfare of all."

Has this link changed/removed or am I just not understanding the joke?! I get a picture of a DOS window up with 'sense of humour bypass' and 'memory purged' in it.
