*MORE DROOOOOOL*

I love those kinds of satchels that get all deliciously soft as they are more and more loved. Like a utilitarian Velveteen Rabbit.

"Chives?"
"Yes, m'lud?"
"Is that Ms Ephemera hovering over the croquet lawn?"
"Indeed m'lud. She's marshalled all the haggle-dans. Missy-twigs and vale-nymphs from Claypole Woods. Apparently she intends to tear this house down and dance on the ruins."
"Well, Chives, you'd better start the car, what? And pack my tennis things too"

'But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
'Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: 'we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.'
'How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
'You must be' said the Cat 'or you wouldn't have come here'

Gaslight Anthem need a transporter. So they can come and play gigs here all the time without Brian Fallon looking like he's going to cry in the middle.

You are a Leprechaun. I'm not even sure what you are. Whiskey-soaked reports from your baffling Isle of Ire raise more questions than they answer. Are you a dwarf? Where's your pickax? If you're an elf, why don't you cobble? You'd think with all your gold, you could invest in some land, perhaps a title, and improve your station. Instead, you hide it in meteorologically-determined locations. You're getting killed on inflation, little friend!

I am thinking George really was the pretty one.

My parents are worried about my weight. What I find weird is the idea they have conversations when I'm not there. I never really thought about them talking before.

Way to make you feel festive there, gah. (And what the hell are they worried about?)

I'm thinking about how accessible the comics medium is and how inaccessible some academics make it sound.

I hate clothes-shopping.
I like accessory-shopping and shoe-shopping and T-shirt-shopping but not proper-clothes-shopping.
Loathe it.

I think that Paul McCartney is a beautiful human being. (Just happened to catch him on the late night show, and his song about John Lennon made me cry.)

In a good way.

Paul was the ONLY one with any kind of talent post Beatles

just listen to any of their stuff after the break up...Paul is the only one who has made more than 3 songs that are tolerable

The accounting team in my office is doing year end filing and yelping with each new papercut, which made me think of Paul the Samurai and sticky yellow death.
