I've tried it... turns out if you take Garfield out of Peanuts strips they are exactly the same.

Still more impressive, however, was that the sheep was capable of fighting, climbing ropes, and reading a treasure map without use of opposable thumbs.

Swabbing the decks was easy though - it was a built-in functionality.
