Ok, so, this is for those of you who have a date coming up, or some other fun party/thingy to take someone to, and would like some ideas.

I'll go first.

Mine isn't this big romantic thing, I just need help deciding what movie to take Darcie to tomorrow (or next friday if the sitter doesn't pan out for tomorrow). On the list so far:

Dark Knight
Hellboy II

Anything else that should be on the list? What would you recommend? How would you rank any of the movies on the list?

You'll be helping us have our first date movie in aaaaages, so your help is much appreciated.

Limertilly: A pagan deity forgotten by man and therefore banished to the realms of memory and darkness now remembered by a young girl in downtown L.A. in the form of a dream and therefore freed to reap your revenge on the people who discarded you, thereby forcing said girl to learn to use her innate yet awesome powers as a soothsayer to gather forces of the Earth to defy you and once more banish you to your cold, cold prisoooooon

Oh, and if you're wondering, for dinner before the movie I want to go to this authentic mexican restaurant that we love that we always seem to go to when we finally have an evening to ourselves Smile

Three hours of GI tract fermentation! Eek

Get Smart was funny, and Will Ferrell's an ass but you could see Step Brothers for John C. Reilly...

Heh, for me this is cart before horse.

"The other night I dreamed that King George VI was dead, and that Helen Hardinge had somehow or other got herself proclaimed Queen of England, and that I was detailed to go and tell her that it wouldn't do at all; and when I did this, all she said was, 'You see, I am really Queen Mary,' and I said, 'Oh very well' - words to that effect, and woke up.

Last night I dreamed that Eisenhower came to stay with us, and he insisted on being put to sleep in the dog kennel, with a collar and chain about his neck."

Dark Knight.

Hands down, no question, Dark Knight.

Hellboy II did not live up to expectations and Indy 4 is mostly a joke.

So Hellboy II lived up to Fury's expectations, but I'm guessing they weren't all that to begin with? As for Indy, this saddens me greatly, but yeah, I'd suspected it was going to be lame *sigh*

*head pats* Razz

You ever read the comic? All the stories have titles like "Fungus of Annihlation"! They pretty much got the comic down.

I didn't think Indy 4 was that bad.

IMAX is a HUUUUUge movie screen that all but surrounds you. Makes everything bigger badder and like you are in the movie.

Caution if you get motion sickness it can cause vertigo, but I like it.
