There is more to it than that, but I can't remember what. It might be like, you need to take the letters on one ruin and the ones on another and fit them together.

Okay, I've found my storage tub and here are all the video games I have available.

All of them work and come with case, manual, and disc or cart, unless mentioned.

IT'S "VIDEOGAMEGIVE@YAHOO.COM"

I apologize, but I can only ship to US and maybe Canada. That's probably okay though considering most of these games will only work with NTSC North American systems.

I'm becoming increasingly convinced that the Wii is actually an elaborate hoax. I've seen one, on one occasion, eight months ago. Gia's cousins had it. They must be in on the conspiracy.

I'm really close to buying a PS2 and going through the back catalog of games that I never played on that (Rez, Ico, SotC, Katamari Damacy) instead.

By the time I get this alleged console the list of games I'm going to want to play is going to be long enough that I'll probably never get to finish any of them.

Nintendo is notoriously stingy when it comes to financial risk. Unlike Sony and Microsoft, they don't have another division to make up for financial losses. They estimated how many Wii units they'd sell and opened factory lines enough to produce that many.

Their estimates were off by an order of magnitude or so, but ramping up production would require opening new factories. With no way to forecast how long this thing is going to last (what if it really is just a fad?) I think they are hesitant to sink a bunch of money into manufacturing capacity that they won't need in a year.

They should just sub the excess out to Flextronics until it levels off (although Flextronics makes the Xbox, so that might be awkward).

TheBoy, start collecting the games you want now. KD is so rare that it's going for $30 used.

And a used copy of Rez is $35. I saw a copy on Yahoo for $59.98. I can't even find a price for Ico, there aren't any for sale.

I've decided to trade my 360 for a Wii tomorrow.

I'm going to look at the uK games chart and pick out the best games.

Any recommendations?

Final Fantasy XII international comes out this week, and I have no money! Frown

It's rather unsubtly titled "Zodiac Job System" and has 12 different license boards from which you can pick for each character...

It also has English voice acting. If only the menus and subtitles were switchable to English as well (like FFX International), I'd buy it right away. I'd bet that they're not, though.

I really don't get the Sonyhate. Okay, so the systems are only weirdly backwards-compatible, but I've had a PS of one kind or another for . . . seven years? Eight? And I've hardly ever had a problem. What is the deal?

I've been getting out of the vidjagaming for a little while now, but I still get the free trade mags that get sent to me.

I was reading one that said one of the reasons the PS3 60GB dropped $100 is not just because of slower sales. They're removing that SKU altogether because they are going to a cheaper emotion engine-less(the PS2 chip) system and are going to be emulation only with the PS2.

Hardware is usually superior to emulation if not always superior, so if that PS3 60GB drops anymore, It might be worth it for a Sony guy to pick one up before emulation gets all buggy with emulator software.

I find hardware fascinating, but I have a hard time getting excited about new games and stuff, even with shiny graphics.

If I remember correctly, I found them on www.gamefaqs.com, but I decided that being a dirty cheater wasn't a big deal at that time.

Part of what I don't like about Sony, and this is true about Microsoft as well, is that I know their systems aren't going to be good out of the box. Nintendo I trust but I won't buy a new Sony or Microsoft system for at least a year in the hopes that all the bugs will be gone.

SSBB looks like great fun, but I don't have anyone to play it with.

And don't say online. If I'm going to get pwned, I want it to be by someone in the same room with me.

Would it be better if it was an all World's End battle? Sure, not in the same room, but... y'know, at least you'd sort of know the people that you were beating on.

Here's a little fact list about Nintendo that my brother showed me the other day:

--Through the first half of 2007, the total Wii™ hardware sell-through in the United States and Canada combined is more than 2.3 million units (2.1 million United States, 222,000 Canada).

--For the first half of 2007, Nintendo represents nearly 70 percent of the industry growth in the United States and Canada combined.

--In June alone, Wii was once again the top-selling home console with nearly 435,000 units sold in the United States and Canada combined (381,800 United States, 53,000 Canada).

--In June alone, Nintendo DS™ was the top-selling video game system overall with nearly 608,000 units sold in the United States and Canada combined (562,000 United States, 46,000 Canada).

--Nintendo remained the top video game publisher in the United States and Canada in June, as well as the top publisher for all of 2007.

--In June alone, Nintendo has six of the top 10 best-selling games in the United States, including the top four: Mario Party® 8 and Wii Play™ for Wii, and Pokémon® Diamond and Pokémon® Pearl for Nintendo DS.

--Of the top 30 best-selling games in the United States for all of 2007, half are for Nintendo systems.

--The three best-selling games in the United States for all of 2007 are for Nintendo systems: Pokémon Diamond, Wii Play and Pokémon Pearl.

--Wii already boasts more than 180 games, including 120 downloadable Virtual Console™ titles. By the end of the year, that total number will climb to about 330 games, including an additional 100 new games from every major third-party publisher, along with an additional 50 Virtual Console titles.

--Approximately 300 games are already available for Nintendo DS, with another 140 titles expected by the end of the year from every major third-party publisher.

The (of course this is no comfort to those who still can't get a Wii... sorry everyone else) Scott

I look at this statistic as a bit misleading. The stat should read that there are already 60 games for the Wii console. The fact that there are a bunch of pre-Wii ports available as well is nice but not as wonderful as having 180 games sounds.

Don't get me wrong - I love, love, love my Wii. I just really can't wait for all the wonderful promised games to get here.

P.S. > not a fan of Harry or anything - but I am enjoying HP:OOTP immensely.
