So, I thought I would steal an idea from the folks over at the WGB and see how we get on with a picture thread. This is a purely gratuitous thread in which to display your own pics of whatever you may wish. feel free to discuss results/cameras/techniques and what have you.

i will start...

this is a friend of mine on the descent to the Giannis D wreck in the northern red sea. taken with a nikon coolpix 4600 in it's snazzy underwater housing

Limertilly: A pagan deity forgotten by man and therefore banished to the realms of memory and darkness now remembered by a young girl in downtown L.A. in the form of a dream and therefore freed to reap your revenge on the people who discarded you, thereby forcing said girl to learn to use her innate yet awesome powers as a soothsayer to gather forces of the Earth to defy you and once more banish you to your cold, cold prisoooooon

that's amazing. i love the way the light on the water completes the circle (even if it does make it look a little like gunmans sights!)

I shouldn't even put this up in a thread that features MoM's photos, but this wasn't too bad for just stopping at holding the camera in vaguely the right direction and not even rolling the window down...

I love the repetition in this one, Lester, especially with the way the light is reflected on the tin roof.

I've just started a photojournalism course, so this thread will be perfect!
