i've been meaning to go up again for ages, while its open, as opposed to in the rain at night, with kids sitting in the doorways drinking their carryout...

These are from where I've spent the last couple of weeks:

You can see my (tiny) cottage in the background.

I took these pics a few days ago at dusk. What can I say, I just like the combination of water & long exposure.

Thank you, Maeve! Looking at them is making me feel kind of homesick (to go back, that is; it is the place where I spent every summer as a kid, so that counts as a kind of home, no?). I'm wondering if I could stay a whole month next year...

I like those. The perspective in the first one in particular.

I love long exposure-of-water pictures. it makes it looks like cloudy glass or unspun wool or cotton candy.

This is an old cemetery in Salem. Lots of spirit orbs if you are into that stuff.

And this is an empty highway in Arizona.

Give me the mead. I gotta be hung over for the children.

You are a Leprechaun. I'm not even sure what you are. Whiskey-soaked reports from your baffling Isle of Ire raise more questions than they answer. Are you a dwarf? Where's your pickax? If you're an elf, why don't you cobble? You'd think with all your gold, you could invest in some land, perhaps a title, and improve your station. Instead, you hide it in meteorologically-determined locations. You're getting killed on inflation, little friend!

tas those are gorgeous. i love long-exposure water shots too.

i've got a set of 3 i took in india on different settings, but i can't vary the exposure enough to really make a difference. all it's really done is changed the brightness. gonna get a new camera soon i think..

Central Finland, the lake area, pretty close to the Official Middle of Nowhere. You're all invited whenever you're in the neighbourhood. Smile
