Ooh, I'd like to have that in my house, too, Domi.

Annoying guest: Mind if I use the toilet?
Me: Sure, it's that gray door over there...

Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn't here.

tis - do you read terry pratchett? there's a brilliant bit in going postal: "I should point out that if at any point you wish to leave, all you have to do is to walk through that door over there" Moist filed this under 'deeply suspicious'
(quoted from memory and probably inaccurate)

actually sundogs don't necessarily mean there's a storm coming, it just means that there are lotsa ice crystals or diamond dust in the atmosphere that are shaped like hexagonal prisms (hexagonal top and bottom and six rectangular sides). The most noticeably bright sundogs show up if the crystals are flat and evenly oriented with their hexagonal ends aligned horizontally.

Quite a beautiful picture!

i'm just going to quietly slink back to the Über-nerd corner now

There was a single blue line of crayon drawn across every wall in the house.
"What does it mean?" I asked.
"A pirate needs the site of the sea," he said, and then he pulled his eye patch down and turned and sailed away.

Really? I thought it might be the sign language gesture for 'Look at this nutter!' Or she was picking her nose flamboyantly.
