~You are a *Taverner*.
Sometimes patrons want to go where everybody knows their names, though it helps when half of them are named John. When people want to celebrate, or commiserate, they gather to your establishment. You provide the atmosphere, the warmth, rum, and even an ear to bend. Did I mention the rum? Years before the language will be mangled with terms like facilitator and networking and interpersonal communication, you've overseen it all, and broken up a few bar fights, to boot.~

was it vodka after or with beer?

(I've done that when I was young and dumber. Poured a shot of gin in my beer).

Liquor than beer will make you feel queer. Beer than liquor, will make you sicker.

Newcastle Brown Ale?

I drank that when i was much younger and foolisher, it tends to have a taste of cigarette ash.

I always find it weird when people in the US drink it.

Although, you could always be referring to some other Castle that is New.

-Ok-- Smaugy, you have the right to the ashtray comment, being a local and all... But the 'Tastes Like Shit' comment, isn't accepted and I virtually Hi Jack the thread and transport to the New Castle Brewery for a free tasting to remind you that FREE NEW CASTLE- is MO- Tasty than " PAID-FOR" ANYTHING else (when in the red part of the month).
Also, one cannot be held accountable for 'intoxicated Taste bud's preferences' after several rounds of Skyy Vodka beforehand.
-It does not taste like Shit WHILE INTOXICATED- I 110% assure you.

That is some tasty free beer on a poor-man's budget even BEFORE the vodka.
YAHRrrr!

P.S. Count, I haven't done the 'WITH BEER- Liquor Combo Punch' in many years, but there is a good chance that Vodka was involved even WAY back then... (The light taste makes it work better than most other liquor options when mixing w/out prejudice.) Wink
