for your online/Board nickname.
for instance:

i am the green robot.
i was born of cyberspace and cyberspace bends to my will.
during my time in the human realm i am observing and learning human history and traditions.
despite my mechanical nature, i have learned i am able to love.
i hide my heart in plain sight, and it belongs to one being alone.
i am the green robot, and cyberspace is my home.
.

yes, i am bored at work.Razz

I am mudpuppy.
I am the daughter of two fathers: one of earth, and one of water.
My mother is Salamander, not Siren.
My home is between the river rocks.
To make the music of the river you must have the stillness of the rocks and the movement of the water.
I am mudpuppy, ancient in form, puppyish in spirit.

I already have a history.
It has been bound in book form.
It is kept slave to the readers.

The Limertilly is slave to no one, however
It roams the world, drinking the free booze
Making friends and breaking rules

i sort of have a headstart here. doesn't mean i don't want to play.

-Brian Andreas

Limertilly: A pagan deity forgotten by man and therefore banished to the realms of memory and darkness now remembered by a young girl in downtown L.A. in the form of a dream and therefore freed to reap your revenge on the people who discarded you, thereby forcing said girl to learn to use her innate yet awesome powers as a soothsayer to gather forces of the Earth to defy you and once more banish you to your cold, cold prisoooooon

There is a word for being deeply happy and deeply sad at the same time. We have forgotten it.

When I learn to carry enough paradoxes within my skull, I will remember that word. Until then, "grey" will suffice.

I am getting there.

He began to think of people in a new light; how everyone's just little more than that frightened, fragile brain stem, surrounded by meat and physics, too terrified to recognize the sum of their parts, insulated in the shells of their skulls and lower-middle-class houses, afraid of change, afraid of decisions, afraid of pain, stuck in traffic, listening to terrible music.

liliaharas is forged of two entities. The first Lilia is a character from one of my favorite books from high school called 'Where Angels Feel to Tread', which explored the eternal debate about what benefits a child more, love or money, and Haras was an alter ego i made for myself which allowed me to create an alternate personality that could do everything that I wasn't allowed to do. Therefore, when I said 'I didn't do it' I thought it might just work. ummm....it didn't

'nuff said.

"The other night I dreamed that King George VI was dead, and that Helen Hardinge had somehow or other got herself proclaimed Queen of England, and that I was detailed to go and tell her that it wouldn't do at all; and when I did this, all she said was, 'You see, I am really Queen Mary,' and I said, 'Oh very well' - words to that effect, and woke up.

Last night I dreamed that Eisenhower came to stay with us, and he insisted on being put to sleep in the dog kennel, with a collar and chain about his neck."

Mark! I have never looked at it that way! And it seems... strangely appropriate.

my history is as a masque.. it hides the true face in a dance of misdirection and subtlety..

all I will say is that I am old..

Maeve used to be my alter ego, the name I would wear when I lurked online, trying to hide from my life. I was too odd, which led me to despair, which led me online - To discover... I'm not weird at all.

The Noodly One once said jokingly, "But you're not bitter?" And I was, certainly, but the bitterness marinated in weirdness and fermented into a kind of fierce strange pride.

I rather like Me now. I just prefer the name Maeve over the one I sign on my checks.

I'm a poet who was sent to infiltrate a group of anarchists. On the way, I encountered odd philosophical and theological imagery and got into a spot of bother regarding Wagner and a man's nose.
I wish I could take credit for all that. Razz
