Maeve - saw your tangled rambles on FB. Hope all is better now.

The other day at work I had the kids making millipedes with yarn and craft sticks. while the kids did that I was winding the partial scans into balls. One kid started calling it cat yarn. I had to ask. He had never seen yarn in a ball other than as a cartoon with a cat chasing it.

I find it significantly neat that comic writer and Internet Bastard Warren Ellis lists The Pod Delusion as one of his regularly listened Podcasts.

That is all.

Every time I go into FB it is full of different people posting baby photos. I just wanted to post a pic of our newest family member. His name is Simon.

SQUEEE!!!! TGIB gets to come out here at the end of the month for TWO WEEKS! We didn't think we were going to be able to see each other again until December, AND our 1-year anniversary was just a few days ago, AND he'll be here for Halloween, so I'm super-ultra-MEGA-excited!!

(And TGIB or Matrix, if you're reading this, stop laughing at me and let me enjoy my excitement! Razz)

Every week I submit a 515, a short report of what I've been working on during the week. Last week I got to write in my report the line: "preparing for the coming Zombie invasion." (I was getting ready for a teen Halloween party.) I love my job.

In his defense, critters get pretty big in Pennsyltucky, and being drunk on dollar store mouthwash doesn't help matters.

We went to the library today. No sign of any eyeballs. But there were some at the launderettes. Yum. Still it's tomorrow isn't it, not today?
