Last night I dreamt that I was going to Australia, but had a layover in Hawaii, so we met up with Green Robot and Twi and Miz MiniBot. She was a lovely, bouncy, giggling armful. Smile

We took lots of pictures!

Hello all. It's so nice now having a job where I can drop in here a few times during the day. Terrific weather here today. The winters are so long, and springtime feels like making parole.

There's a mini ComicCon at Penn College today and tomorrow, so I took Dev to the dealer's room. We bought stuff. Smile

I eat two of these for breakfast every day and then burn it off by kickboxing a dozen pirate gorillas!

For those fans making the trip to Nationals Park so they can root, root, root for the home team — or Phillies fans…or any other fans, for that matter, but especially Phillies fans — be sure to stop by an ATM or a local bank for a small loan on the way to the park. Because if you and your buddies are interested in procuring yourself a StrasBurger for your ballpark dining enjoyment, it’s going to set you back the tidy sum of $59. Mmmm…ridiculously priced stadium concession fare….(drools)

The gargantuan burger made its concession stand debut at Nationals Park on Thursday at the team’s home opener against the Cincinnati Reds, so I imagine there are a lot of folks in D.C. with a wicked case of heartburn from overeating.

For the uninitiated, the succulent StrasBurger — named after Nationals pitching phenom Stephen Strasburg (good thing I explained that, eh?) — that boasts 8,000-10,000 calories, 600-700 grams of fat, 200-300 grams of saturated fat and 2,500-3,000 milligrams of sodium less than 50 calories, all coming from multigrain fiber — has been described as follows:

Weighing eight pounds total (including toppings), the StrasBurger is a monstrous all beef burger (combination of ground brisket, chuck and short ribs). The burger is served on a large burger bun with our secret sauce, American cheese, shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, sliced red onions, pickle chips and served with a cone basket of fresh cut fries and a pitcher of your choice of soft drink. This signature dish is the perfect entrée to share at this affordably-priced family restaurant.

Hoo boy. That’s a whole lotta meaty and cheesy goodness. The StrasBurger is supposedly designed to serve eight individuals. Or one Phillie Phanatic, famished from the road trip to D.C. That thing can eat, man. I only hope it brought along some cash.

*tacklehugs* Hi Limer! Smile

I'm in England, and the weather is being very English indeed - rainy, windy, grey and cooooold. But if it clears up later, Mom said she'll take be rock pooling after work. I have no idea what that is, but apparently it is done on the beach. Which is where I want to go anyway at some point - there's supposed to be good fossil hunting here! (If I can find a West Runton Elephant postcard, you're getting it, Matt!)
