So we put an offer on a house and now we wait to hear if they accept it. The house is 80 years old and is near a park. It is hard to type with your fingers crossed.

Hope you feel better soon! I am still hurty and creaky, it's mostly the right side of my neck and into the shoulder. This damp chilly weather isn't helping much either.

Sorry to rant here, but I really need to.

Applying for many jobs online. It seems to be a trend that online application sites ask you to describe your job duties.
That is more than fair...
How about giving me more that 30 characters to do it in??? Huh???

Maddening. It is like trying to Twitter for a job. Mad

That's sucky, Lan. A description in 30 words is far more reasonable!

I had a bear in my backyard!

Bears aren't really cute. They are incredibly stinky filthy creatures. I suppose the cubs and their antics can be cute.

I am avoiding hanging up the laundry and cleaning the bathroom.

an adult bear definitely isn't cute. it's a big scary thing with LOTS of teeth and an attitude to match. bear cubs are adorable, but you better hope the mother isn't around.

all this to say:
A BEAR! in your backyard? STAY INDOORS!

It was really only chance and luck and quick reaction time to go fetch the camera! It was less than five minutes for it to cross the field. And yes, it's technically still my 'yard' but it's not right outside the house, it's out a ways.

Gardening stuff today! I love playing in the dirt. Smile

I didn't get a very good night's sleep last night and one of the weird dreams was that we had a massive snowstorm and the school bus got stuck at the bottom of my road. Somehow or other JP ended up stranded here and so I made him supper. I made lasagna.
