You know that point when you are so frustrated by your job and career that you want to have a breakdown and pull a Pet Shop Boys Rite of Spring? ( yup 2:45ish)

I can't quite go full breakdown, but damn... I, yeah.

The first step I would recommend is updating your resume and making sure it's ready to go.

Yeah, 20 years in IT have changed things. I quite hate so many things that are so wrong with how "everyone" understands data. or perhaps "data."

their own or others or whatever.

I deleted my rant after that statement because it sounded like a crazy person. It is damn scary, and I will leave it at that.

Signal and Protonmail are not bad choices.

Listening to Amanda Palmer's new album. The Ride might be the most amazing song I have heard in a very long time.

Somebody meets Nine While Nine, with some Little Earthquakes (including guns). Meets Middle Fingers, Edge of Town and Clearest Blue.

I am impressed, and, quite frankly, in tears.

I completely forgot she had a new album coming out. Will check it out. How does The Ride compare to The Bed Song?

I could have sworn I sloshed paint on that patch if ceiling, but it doesn’t look like I did. It’s white paint on white primer in a not very brightly lit room. So I think tomorrow I will do another coat before starting in on the walls.

And I will likely do a shit job of painting, but, it’ll be mine. And it will be better than the fugly paneling!

Oh balls! This sweater is tedious, I keep knitting around around and it never seems to get long enough!

I am sick of it and the yarn hurts (cotton and linen) and I still have the neck and the arms to deal with and I want to just fling it out the window and start something squishy.

It’s not a moist kind if squishy, it is soft and squeezable. Like Charmin.

Wet wool is just full of woecakes.
