I've taken to calling Dev 'Scritch' because he doesn't exactly need to shave, but his cheeks are rough and so I make him bend forward so that I can kiss his forehead instead of his scratchy cheeks.

Last night's weirdy dream: I ended up visiting Jocelyn and Tongster and I had a great conversation with Millie and the cats.

Awww! Millie is good at Pretty Dresses.

Mojo is good at shedding on them.

(Millie told me I'm pretty the other day. I'm still glowing).

Awww! That's terrible! But hilarious.

My friend Claire used to tell her Mom that she was too ugly to have had kids, and she was mean to pass down her genes to another generation.

Claire looks exactly like her Mom.

I am not looking forward to that phase.

I ordered a swimdress from ebay. It doesn't fit.

boo. that sucks. i had to buy a swimdress online, and i was terrified it wouldn't fit. it almost does, but really these things are never set up for a proper amount of boobage.

It wouldn't be so bad if it had proper bra padding. But... there are just these weirdly cone shaped bits that my tits just don't fit into.

I wonder if I can find some swim padding somewhere?

ETA: Nope. I tried taking the padding out (there's an open section) and just wearing a bra underneath it and there's just not enough material for boob coverage.

feh.

I tried getting a "Long Torso" style one, once, to avoid the weird boob swimsuit issue. It bagged around my waist. It did nothing for the actual problem area.

Swimsuit shopping is horrible.

I am having trouble finding swimdresses this year. I need them because if I get the suit in the size I need to fit the tits it sags around my nonexistent ass. A swimdress hides that issue.

I did find a skirted bottom - one that covers my whole belly - which I like. Most of the other bottoms, the waist is too low and so it just creates muffintop. Before when I looked for swimdresses all I found were tops. Can I find anything now? Of course not.

There was one that I didn't dislike. I have a few more stores to search in tomorrow.

It's not about whether the guys (the ones I live with or anyone else) mind. It's about how I feel in an outfit. I don't wear dresses because it feels weird. Shorts make me feel the same way.

I'm already paranoid enough, I don't really need extra trauma from my clothes. Smile

Honestly, if they made a women's tankini with swim trunks, I'd snap that thing up. It sounds like the perfect suit to me.

I'm switching jobs soon! Waiting to hear back from the background check people, so I can give my notice here and start the transition process!

I'm nervous, because I still like my current job, it's just not giving me enough hours. It feels weird to quit a job I still like.

JP and Joccy have inspired me. My next suit is going to be board shorts (the shorter kind, not the super-long kind) and a rash guard (shirt). Way more sun/sand protection than I usually get, and I'll still have to wear a bikini top underneath for support so I can take the rash guard off when I want to get sun.

I like the idea of a rash guard top, but for me they are just too tight. And board shorts just look weird on my frame.

I did find a solid coloured (green!) swimdress on ebay. Hopefully it arrived in the mail today so that I can wear it tomorrow at the water park.

We were going to go today, but it is likely to storm today and I didn't want to spend all that money and then have to leave early.

ETA: It did not show up in the mail today. Frown

Yet Another ETA: It came in the mail yesterday, the mail arrived long after we left for the waterpark. So I tried it on when I got home and it's really quite nice. It's a lovely green colour. It's a Carol Wior and it wasn't cheap, but I found a goo deal on ebay.
