Signed up yesterday with a workout buddy at Urban Active Fitness. (Beautiful gym). Even though it has a two year contract, got a huge discount for paying in advance. (400 for 24 months, versus the 45 a month) Saturday is the big orientation with the trainer, and we are supposed to bring a sheet of paper with three goals and a list of our daily eating habits. Here's my statement followed by my question: We both know how to eat properly, I've just recently pulled myself out of my depression and started eating better again. Should I give him a list of what I normally eat in a day, or what kinds of things I have been eating the last few months?
Down 3.7 pounds this week! Wii fit rocks!

I'd say list what you're eating now -whatever you used to eat, it's in the past. And you want to go forward and improve. If you list what you used to eat, then whatever they suggest you will already be doing it to at least some extent. It'd be like enrolling in a language class of a level slightly lower than yours -easy at first, and then boring and uninteresting.

ach, I cannot exercise with people - too shy! I go bright red even when I'm not the slightest bit out of breath or tired. also can't exercise effectively outside because it sets my asthma off, so am pretty much restricted to press ups and walking to the shops... actually can't do press ups at the moment because of buggered wrist Razz

Gained almost ten pounds during the first month as I packed on the nummy muscle, and now it really is dripping off. If I could consistently get to the gym five days a week I know it would drop dramatically. I'm so giddy!

Cookies for everyone! (Calorie free, of course. And fat free. And chocolate. Magical...)

I am not being good! I really should start being better.

I am going to start bringing lunch to work next week. I do, actually, now have a freezer full of healthy meals.

But I also need to start stocking irishboys house up with healthy things, as when I go there I tend to eat quite badly.

I am also going to start a food diary. I will buy a book this weekend as if I have a shiny new book I am more likely to actually keep it.

On the plus side, I am drinking 2l of water a day. And have stopped taking sugar in my tea.

I also try to drink enough.
And I try to eat whole-grain stuff instead of white flour (it tastes better anyway)

But I really need to start exercising more...
maybe I'll join a gym after all

when i join gyms, i go religiously for about the first month, then i get lax and by month three i'm probably not going at all. so it's just a waste of money.

during the winter, i climb most saturdays with some friends, but now the diving season's started that's more tricky. i still need to start doing situps at home again tho.

Bwahahaha!

Yeah right, that is my target ideal weight!

I'm 1,73 and at my heaviest 105kg's though right now I'm down to 96kgs

at 75kgs i'd be the same weight i was when I was rowing and doing training 3 hours a day! I was only 16....hence why it's the ideal and unrealisic weight!

i'd like to get down to 65 kg...
i just don't feel good with my current weight.

And as the weekend was full of eating (i had to bake a cake for mothers day, we did a barbecue (actually 2 because i was at my boyfriends mothers day celebration as well and of course they did barbecue and cake as well)) i resolved to only eat vegetables and fruit today..

i won't eat anyway until late afternoon...

i know it's not healthy but i can't get good fruit or vegs where i work...
