Oooh. Just heard about Studyrails via a Consumer Reports tweet. Anyone ever use this before? I'm thinking it could easily be worth the $5 a month.

Okay, this one takes a little work...the site is in Japanese, but it's pretty straightforward.

First, go here: http://labs.mppark.jp/hige/

Now, click on the "Change!" button, then click "Upload".

Upload a photograph (in .jpg format) of your face (or someone else's face) taken pretty much straight on.

Welcome to the uncanny valley! Click on any of the passing balloons to change your look.

Edited to add: there's a "Johnny Depp" and an "Orlando Bloom" button. Right next to each other. Kind of similar, actually...

I'll have to find my link to Toss The Turtle as well. Similar game, marginally better graphics.

Regretsy. Stuff people make and sell that they probably shouldn't.

My favourites in the first few pages are the copulating earthworms necklace and the terrifying festive clown wreath.

You are a Leprechaun. I'm not even sure what you are. Whiskey-soaked reports from your baffling Isle of Ire raise more questions than they answer. Are you a dwarf? Where's your pickax? If you're an elf, why don't you cobble? You'd think with all your gold, you could invest in some land, perhaps a title, and improve your station. Instead, you hide it in meteorologically-determined locations. You're getting killed on inflation, little friend!

One night, TLOML and spent 3 hours in hysterics reading the snarky commentary. My favorite is the knitted vagina keychain.

Did you see the thrift store plush animals "upcycled" (dear god, how that word is misused) by sewing little plush vaginas into them? I just couldn't figure them out at all. There's a psych paper there, somewhere, for somebody.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a free online chatroom environment? I'm currently chatting with three people and we could all be chatting together if I knew of a place (and no, they're not Boardies, so the WE isn't an option).
