1. Eye doctor said I don't really need glasses yet (-0.50 on both eyes). 2. Scored some serious paperback swag at the Oxfam bookstore today: an as-good-as-new one-volume LOTR (I only had the three-volume one with the movie covers until now), a slightly used "Fahrenheit 451" and a slightly more used, but still good "Delusions of Grandma" by Carrie Fisher - all for 6.50€. 3. A lovely, lovely friend from Australia I met at my Uni drama group is visiting Berlin with her new husband for the weekend, and since I can't make the general meetup tomorrow, we're meeting for dinner and drinks Saturday. ****************************************************************** Mid-life crisis?
