ohhh....nearly one week up

*waits excitedly for the promised projects*

Big Grin

I prefer to live in a country that's small, and old, and where no one would ever have the NERVE to wear a cape in public, whether they could leap tall buildings in a single bound or not.

when's spring due?.

I wanted to post the ones I've written, mostly so Smaugy won't be sad. Frown
I'm hoping the fact that a lot of my favourite posters aren't on this list (because I haven't gathered enough Awesome Adjectives yet) will kick my ass into finishing some more before long.

Apathy – I want to know which one of you and Green Robot is the evil twin. Because if either of you were to use your powers for evil instead of good, then the results would be... frightening. Anyway, I think that if we hung out we would have interminable, fervent arguments, ending only with the two of us collapsing into laughter until the next one broke out. It'd be awesome.
BeeZee – you keep your knives sharp and your wits sharper. I think I would love to meet you, you seem to have an appreciation of the best things in life – good music, great food, better conversation. Also, I could help break EB's knees. (Do threats count as positive enough to post in the Project? Razz)
Cappy Meriweather – I like yer name!
Cavenagh – rock star of the World's End. Not.. uh.. accepting applications for groupies anytime soon, no? No.. nevermind.
Fash!onpol!ce – you look great in a suit (and the rest of the time). You are birth of the cool.
Graffalke the Chrono-Illogical Alchemist – you remind me of someone I loved very much. I like you!
Grand Moff Kradlum – I really liked your American road trip pictures/stories. And, of course, the old ripped-jeans-and-Docs look. Great stuff, man.
green-robot – you seem lovely. Also, see Apathy's entry. Razz
halucinagenia – I greatly admire your incredible conviction, always backed up by a rather intimidating degree of intelligence. I hope ye're finding great happiness out in the big cold (aka Canada).
Hasa – a strange, green light seems to follow you wherever you go. That, or German restrooms all have really cool lighting. Either way, great pictures.
Lady Jasmine – it's always good to see you drop in – and not just because you post gorgeous pictures of yourself. Razz You seem lovely all 'round, and inspiringly dedicated to your art.
ladykatza – generally recognised to be the physical embodiment of the word “rawr”. Because you're..cuddly. Like a tiger cub. Yeeah.
Lan Martak – you are witty and kind, endlessly good-humoured, and champion of lunches everywhere. I like it when you spend your lunchtimes with us.
Lester Zombie – your photos range from silly to inspiringly clever, or usually a mixture of the two.
Matt Cable and Theatregeek – the fact that something as awesome as you guys finding each other is allowed by God to happen gives me hope that the world isn't such an awful place after all. May you have manymany years of happiness, as you both truly deserve it.
Mean Old Man – I could totally take you on. Stick a band-aid over your cyclopean eye-lens and you'd be powerless to stop me. But then.. that would mean you'd post even less than you do now, so fuck that.
Munk, The Wombat Confessor – I like that you keep coming back and telling us about your beliefs, intelligently and articulately, undeterred by the fact that just about everyone is going to do their best to shoot them down. It takes some amount of courage. And it is appreciated – enquiring minds want to understand how the other side thinks!
NicholasRidiculous – I only ever see you in the Current Reading thread, which is a shame, but better than nothing. Smile
olias- what could possibly be sweeter than freshly-cooked babycakes? Whatever it is, I'm impressed!
psyche – you seem very sweet. Your coming out of lurking always induces a moment of excitement.
remote – ye cannae whack a nice, dry sense of humour such as yours, not with a big stick. Well... I suppose I could try..
Robbie – you recommend some interesting bands. Keep on gigging!
Smaug – When you look up the word “awesome” in the dictionary, there's just a picture of Smaug. And a chip butty.
St.Barbarella – I miss your wry comments and, generally, total coolness. You seem like you'd be an awesome person to hang out with. I hope that uni and Northern life are providing lots of other people with opportunities to do just that.
St.CountZero – sir, may I say that while your taste in music is delectable, even it is surpassed by your dry wit. Would love to have a pint with you in a bar with good music and a huge selection of beers.
striv – Your photoes are awe-inspiring. That's about all I can say.
ThatGuyInBlack – It could be said that you're crazy.

Crazily awesome.
The Happy Nihilist – I don't think you've ever posted regularly when I've been here, and that is something that I regret. In your old posts, you seem too funny, awesome, suave, dashing and handsome for your own good. I may have to kidnap you if I ever see you 'round these parts again.
TwiliteMinotaur – you seem like quite the gentleman.
ɯʇ ʎoq ǝɥʇ – your work is fascinating (as are your posts). It gives me hope that intelligence such as yours is being put to good use.
weeble – I wasn't really around when you were doing your epic amounts of posting (boo Frown), but I am glad that your life has got to a place now where you don't have to post as much. Selfishly, though, I'm even more glad that you're still here to post sometimes, words of advice, wisdom 'n' silliness. I like it when you post. Smile
wigged goat – always nice to see your crazy grin. Even crazier now that all has been revealed regarding your Great Arctic Mission. Dude! That's awesome and crazy. (If you freeze to death I'll kick your ass.)
Xine – I really miss seeing your name around. It's been so long that all I can remember is a general sense of awesomeness.
Yepa [Holdingpillow] – where are youuu? You brought a fantastic spirit to the board, I hope it shall return soon!

Well, I finally also got started on the project - mainly because I didn't want Smaugy to be too sad - but somehow this year I seem unable to write anything that might not sound unintentionally nasty or just plain dumb. I'll see if I can improve it, but if I fail please know that I tried... It's just that my words seem to have packed their bags & deserted me.

You are a Farrier. You enjoy nothing more than seeing a well-fitted hoof. Just because it's an animal doesn't mean it can't have a touch of style. Try this pump; here's a stilletto; my, did you see the calves on that pony? Size 6? Oh, madame, really! Still, there are so many hooves, and so little time, and you often miss out on the fun (and the better meme results.)

I am sad to say I don’t IM with anyone and I really don’t do well with keeping in touch. The phenomenon of being in the same place in any portion of my life for a period longer than five minutes is something I am unable to explain. I do, however, know that this place is addictive. Even through all its incarnations, this board has been a very great piece in my life. I can’t do this place or any of you justice, but I love everyone here and hope to know you all better in future. Big Grin

-elbell- - I always imagine you jogging in one of those sweat suits they sell in places like SkyMall magazine. Your first few weeks here you made an impression as a level-headed woman with solid opinions, lots of life experience, and a healthy dose of humor.
aisha- You are the first woman I have seen who can pull off a mohawk. I would be jealous for that fact, but I’m more in awe than anything. You’re just great. I think of you as open-minded, articulate, and possessing a unique sense of self.
aitapata- You’ve changed since I first got here. A bit more subdued on the surface, but the antennae give you away. You are beautiful, intelligent, and have a cheer-infused sense of mischief I admire and adore, even if only as a spectator.
Al-Aura- I remember campfire talk of Hobbits and lots of cheese…It was amazing to have met you and TLOYL in Ohio. I miss the experience and savor those memories of which you are an integral part.
Alinda, the lost girl in long stockings- I miss you. You float in and out of sight. I just want you to know you leave an impression upon those around you and are an irreplaceable part of this community.
b- I must call you sometime! My favorite thing about you is your laugh. It’s infectious. Not a snort or a cackle, but more of a chime effect. Lovely.
Babylon the Bride- I don’t know what to say. You seem to be the most well-acquainted with everyone. You are a peer to everyone with an inquisitive nature and a knack for objective understanding. I am very sorry to have missed you in the states this July, but hope for the chance to meet you in future.
BeeZee- I’m a mouthy bit, but here I don’t know what to say, Bzz. I just love ‘ya. Big Grin

I will try more later, sorry for the belated response, Smaugy.

I'm way to busy at the moment to do the project this year, but I do need to post one of those "I love you all" comments because it's true.

I haven't been around for a while, but it doesn't mean I don't miss you guys! I've been here for yonks and though I don't talk to a lot of you, I always find this board as an 'all things' kinda place. I learn from it a lot, and I love it so!

So, here's a *big hug* to all of you here, old and new, because it's you guys who keep it going.
