It's that time of year again. World's End Fantasy Football League!

This is year 5 for the board and we currently have 1 opening. We're running a 10 team league on ESPN.com (which is free). In past years we've charged $15 so the champion gets a ring. We're debating if we want to continue that, donate our entry fees to a charity of the champions choice or just keep in completely free. Drop me a PM or reply in this thread if you're interested in joining our league. First response gets in.

We'll have discussions about changes to our scoring system and draft date/time once we get all 10 teams locked. We went to a PPR system last year and it worked well.

Let me know if you have any questions.

(This thread will also be used for general NFL discussions - like how long until TO explodes in Buffalo)

TO is already full of brilliant quotes, like the "I think the commissioner should spend 23 months in jail, see how he likes it!" debacle.

~ Non-Mod-Amy, aka Amy of the Lost Ark

You are a Bookholder. To prompt, or...LINE! (not to prompt) --not to prompt. That is the question. Whether t'is nobler to suffer the slings and arrows of a bad memory, or to take arms against a sea of textual deviations, and...LINE! (by opposing) --by opposing them...LINE! (end) --end...LINE! (them) --end them...LINE! (to prompt, to correct; no more; and by a correction to say we end the heart-ache of a really terrible performance) You didn't have to give me the whole thing! I know it!

Do we expect any less? The guy's with the Bills, he's got to do something to keep his name out there.

Or how long until he starts hating on his QB?

Will Romo finally win a playoff game now that TO is gone and he's not getting nookie from Jessica before the game?

How quickly will Jay Cutler pitch a fit in Chi-town?

How long til Matt Cassel realizes "Were not in New England anymore, Toto..."?

How long till the Niners realise there's no point drafting a stud WR when you haven't got a decent QB?

You mean Hill and/or Smith to Crabtree doesn't have the same ring as Montana or Young to Rice?

We really like how our 4th-string QB looks.

No, really, we are.

Oh, no I'll settle for it - I just don't see it happening!

Nate Davis, he looks really good but not good enough to actually play, so we're afraid that if we put him on the practice squad, someone else will sign him.

Really. We're worried that our new potential franchise QB will get picked up off our practice squad as some other team's 3rd string QB.

Surely Davis isn't the Niners future ... Oh dear. Sometimes I'm glad I live far away from the train-wreck that is the Niners!

The idea all along was to stash him on the practice squad for a year or two and develop him slowly, but he looked so good without pads during OTAs that they're afraid if they follow that plan, someone will snatch him.

FOX's Cops HBO's Hard Knocks are covering the Bengals. Roll Eyes

Maybe it will give me vindication that they are just an average NFL team and there is an unexplained curse over them us all.

I'm sure he's thrilled that Vick is returning. TO might get to play a season where he is only the second most hated player in the league.

Do we have any convicted felons on the Pats? I know a couple of players have been arrested over the years.

Crabtree holding up all first round signings
The News

Michael Crabtree is reportedly holding out for "top three draft pick money," according to the Denver Post.

Our View

Ohh boy. This holdout could take longer than we originally thought. Not only is his holdout holding up the 49ers training camp, but the camps of many other teams trying to sign their number one picks, since they would in turn want pay boosts to the degree Crabtree would be getting. Crabtree is at least off to a running start when it comes to being a spoiled receiver diva.

FYI - we're still looking for one more boardie who would like to play fantasy football this year. We'll open it up to friends and relatives if we can't find a 10th.

FavRE is not a Viking!! woot! link

*sigh of relief*

After 7 years of living here I have finally started to become a viking fan and would have thrown that all away if they would have signed that interception throwing asshat.

I'll re-join the ffl if the spot is open.
