Can I put Palmer in now instead of Brees?

I knew Palmer had the ability to have a good game but I cannot believe how poorly Brees is doing so far.

Mattvid is getting hit with injuries today ... Finley out, Leon out ... that's a tough hole to get out of.

Merlin and Tong are in a slugfest, with all cards on the table after the late afternoon games!

Yeah, who'd have thunk it. No way you play Palmer over Brees though, not in any normal situation.

You know what I think is funny ... the year that Lan could have drafted a solid homer team and been competitive and here is Merlin running wild with CedBen, OchoCinco and the Cinci D.

I have a feeling the Saints D just sealed my fate for this weekend ....

Looks like Brees will salvage an OK game for me after all.

Back from Wembley - what fun!

A very very good atmosphere, full of people who wanted a good fun game. And despite the lopsided score, it wasn't as far apart as all that. THe Buccs came to play, and truth be told were 2 plays away from going in at half time level... Good to see Brady live, and seeing it live showed just how clever Welker is at finding space underneath.

Great fun.

Awesome that you were there, Murph. And glad you had fun. I only got to watch the first bit of the game, but it looks like it was fun.

Yeah, the injuries are certainly frustrating this weekend, especially with the byes going on. That said I can't believe we're ONLY half way through the regular fantasy season after tonight. There's still a lot of football to play and more injuries to deal with no doubt.

Just got home from my community meeting, and Eagles are up 20 to 7. Nobody seems to be doing a whole lot stat-wise for the scores on the board. Well, except for DeSean Jackson who just scored his second TD...

Damn, Westy out with a concussion? Cooley broke his ankle?! AJ has a 'lung contusion', whatever that is but OUCH! Wayne strained his groin. Finley tweaked his knee. What a week for injuries! And still the byes continue, with Bengals, Pats and Steelers out (oh yeah, and the Chiefs, Bucs and Redskins).

You forgot Leon Washington breaking his leg.

Right. I had Leon in my family league. I guess I was in denial?

1. I had the second-most points in the league this week (after putting up the most the previous week), and I drop to 5th place?
2. I don't have a single guy out with injuries?
