Hmmm...could you do a modified push-up?

Silly question, I know. Probably doesn't count in anyone's books, but it would help you not to stall the process.

Okay! I finally started. Just barely eked out 26 on my initial test. Will probably start in a few days... Saturday morning, perhaps?

W6D3: 20/20/17/17/15/15/14/14/44.

I don't think I'll manage the 100 in two days' time, but I'll do the exhaustion test to see where I stand and then I'll probably try week 6 in the middle column.

Was going to start week one earlier, but I had a tweaky shoulder. Will give it a go tonight.

I just about managed W6D2: 20/20/23/23/20/20/18/18/53. Didn't get enough sleep for today; if I was more rested, I might have managed more.

Heh. Smile

W6D3: 22/22/30/30/25/25/18/18/55.

This was a tough one. Towards the end I had to take longer breaks in between sets. I'll do the stress test on Tuesday and then I'll probably try week 6 in the toughest column.

So. Based on my initial test of 26, the program recommended that I start on week three, column three. Wrong-o! Burned out on the second set of day 1. So I am rebooting and going with week 1, column three. I'd like to start tonight, but we will see if overexerting yesterday throws me off.

W1D2: 10/12/8/8/12

Just barely squeezed out that twelfth one on the last set.

The programme definitely helps build up some stamina, which is sorely needed - especially once you get to weeks 5 and 6 where you have up to eight or nine sets in a day.

Yesterday, I did W6D1, difficult column: 45/55/35/30/55.

And W6D2: 22/22/30/30/24/24/18/18/57. Had to rest a few minutes between the last two sets - the previous ones I did within 45 seconds of each other.

Have you guys noticed the numbers on the websites changing at all?

I just started week 4 again after a (very) long break, and the numbers I'm doing don't seem to equate to the ones I'd put up on the spreadsheet before.

I'm putting it down to the assumption that I can't count, for now.

(21, 25, 20, 22, 31. Fuck.)

Yes, they changed.

The current week 4.
The original week 4.

Oh, and I just did W1D2 again. Basically I started with day two last week, then slacked, so this week I started fresh at day 1, just to get the timing right.

Now I need to find some way to do pull-ups... I have scoured the house for something I can use without fear of it breaking, and there is nothing. Not even a table to use for the lying down kind (more of a reverse pushup than anything).

is there a park near you? Where you used to live there were bars for them in the park.

The park I used to live by used to have chin-up bars, plus a set of parallel bars, but the chin-up bars got removed. Haven't been to the park that's near me now.

New plan: actually following through on previous notions and joining the climbing gym. Should get me all the pulling up I have any use for. Plus it's got a weight room if I really need help Smile.
