What do you mean by "fantasy aspect." well i mean like where in the book is there concrete evidence that this is a fantasy novel?

There is a sense of magical realism to the book - the implication that events of the book are no more magical than going on holiday in Brighton - but I think it's mostly in the tropes and images used. The idea of Other Mother is almost cliched, although this one's a bit more original, for starters.
