Hi all,
Has anyone heard if there is going to be a more reasonably priced edition of American Gods American Gods that includes all the extra pages that the insanely expensive special edition has? I'd love to read the other pages, but I can't see spending around $150 to do so.

Thanks!

Nope. It's a limited run, finely crafted, which is why the price is so high. It's not a version that's going to be mass produced in the foreseeable future. If you can't afford the price, you're pretty much out of luck.
I would suggest watching ebay or used book dealers for copies of the reader's copy. Because the books were so expensive and cool, and yes this solidifies the view that they are art items instead of books to read, the publisher made paperback copies of the book and sent one of these with the slipcased version. Someone will eventually sell one of those, which will be the least expensive option (though, I'm guessing still expensive)
