Y'know, I really loved her character, and I miss her, and I become happy everytime I reread American Gods and reach the part where she taps on Shadow's shit-on-wheels. And led me to think and wish Gaiman would write a sequel or a spin off featuring girl Sam.

It would be fun if he did, and I'd love to read it because Sam is majorly cool.
My only problem is that unless he does some major stretching to get her into another one of his stories, she's probably not going to have a life that gets involved with the sort of strangeness it did in AG. James Wandering, but not lost. "You are a Knight Errant. All of the fun of rescuing damsels, and none of the paperwork." |

Yup. I was kind of upset that Shadow and girl Sam didn't wind up together, but then I thought for a second, would it have been better if they did get together? Not that it would've been sappy, but it felt like Shadow had more adventures to go on.
And you're right, too, about Sam's story should expand and go to places we wouldn't expect. But she's such a weird, yet cool character. I always liked the idea that when Sam said she was told that she's a half-breed by her father, it was also applying that she's part goddess. |

I really like Sam, either. And because of her name I started to suspect something like steampunk, too. It'd have been cool.
I'd really like to see more of her and Shadow. |
