Posted I grew up in Chattanooga and visit every year, and have been to Rock City and Ruby Falls more times than I can actually count. It is amazing, no written words can describe it - even dressed as it is today in tourist kitsch. I am wondering how many of you have been there since the book, and any suggestions for leaving a message behind for others when we do visit? Environmentally friendly of course...

Posted Hide Post I actually went there years ago while I was in the middle of reading the book for the first time, and didn't get to the part where they visited Rock City until I was long gone. It was still an experience, particularly because I had never been out of my own state before. What kind of message would you suggest leaving? It'd be hard to pick out something that wouldn't be noticed or considered harmful by employees, but would attract the attention of people who thought to look in a certain place...

In the past few days, we've been getting a *huge* amount of Notifications that are bouncing back to the mod email. If you've noticed that you haven't been receiving your normal notifications (ie, new posts, private messages, etc), please make sure that gaiman.board.mods@gmail.com is in your email's safe list. The majority of the bounce-backs seem to be coming from hotmail addresses, so if you've got a hotmail email, please make sure we're in your address book, even if you don't have notifications set up.
