I am analyzing American Gods for a paper I am writing about how American cultural anxieties are reflected in gothic fiction and as we speak I am dealing with a chapter on the spookshow being the faceless representatives of a ruthless government.

I have a feeling that at some point one of the spooks refers to the old gods using the word "terrorists", but I cannot find the quote, and I wonder if I am imagining things.

Can anyone help me out?

Nevermind.

I found it myself. Mister Town says it right before Wednesday is shot.
