Posted I am analyzing American Gods for a paper I am writing about how American cultural anxieties are reflected in gothic fiction and as we speak I am dealing with a chapter on the spookshow being the faceless representatives of a ruthless government. I have a feeling that at some point one of the spooks refers to the old gods using the word "terrorists", but I cannot find the quote, and I wonder if I am imagining things. Can anyone help me out? In the past few days, we've been getting a *huge* amount of Notifications that are bouncing back to the mod email. If you've noticed that you haven't been receiving your normal notifications (ie, new posts, private messages, etc), please make sure that gaiman.board.mods@gmail.com is in your email's safe list. The majority of the bounce-backs seem to be coming from hotmail addresses, so if you've got a hotmail email, please make sure we're in your address book, even if you don't have notifications set up.
