I'm fairly new to Neil Gaiman's work, somehow managing to stumble through for years without reading any of it until recently. I'm currently devouring the Sandman series, finished up with American Gods a couple of weeks ago, and just got done with Good Omens the other night.

But anywho..as to the title of the post. I'm a native of Gadsden, a little blip on the map in Alabama, but one that's fairly close to Lookout Mountain and Rock City, in fact, we've got billboards up for it all along I-59. So imagine my surprise and thrill when it was part of the backdrop for American Gods..the battleground of the gods, no less.

Uhm..I guess I really don't have any other point to make than to say I've really enjoyed everything I've read thus far, and that little bit was just the icing on the cake. Can't wait to devour more!
