Hey Sandman experts, I really need your help....it's been a while (about 10 years) since I read the complete Sandman series. One of the stories featured Dream and someone else having some sort of verbal interaction competition ending in "I am Hope" and enabling him to win the competition. Does anyone know the name of the Sandman graphic novel that this story featured in? I'd really like to find it to use in a group I attend. We are being trained to intervene if someone is suicidal. Last night we discussed that sometimes all people have left is hope. That story jumped into my mind and I came home and searched all my Neil Gaim Sandman graphic novels but
I can't find it...argghh Please help

Off the top of my head, I believe it's "A Hope in Hell" from Preludes and Nocturnes. The game they're playing is known as The Oldest Game, and is lots of fun to play at parties.
