There seems to be to different editions of Absolute sandman vol. 1 avaiable. one with ISBN 1401210821, and one with ISBN 1845763564. Anyone care to shed any light on what the exact differences are, and which one is the better buy?

The former is the American edition, the latter is the British edition. Apart from differences in cover art, I'm not finding anything on either publisher's site (Titan in the UK, Little Brown & Co. in the US) that distinguishes the volumes.

as a side note, the picture on amazon.com US does not match the actual book*, the one on amazon UK does. So, though I haven't seen the UK edition personally, I doubt that even the covers are different

*possibly an early cover mock-up or advert? I've seen amazon make mistakes before
