AGHHH i am having a pointless argument with someone who I have argued with before.

As we all know the endless where created in the dc multiverse, and will die when the dc multiverse ends.

They have power within the whole mutliverse and that multiverse only.

Though they can leave there multiverse if they chose, which is why death visits lucifers multiverse.

Now this guy is annoying me by saying the endlesss are so powerfull that they have existed before dc, and are in charge of the very omniverse....even though neil has NEVER said this.
If this was so then dream would be able to kick lucifers arse to marvel and back. And then through him into image for good measure while putting his brain in a blender.

Please can someone beat sense into this guy called glamour

well... Death did show up in a Hulk issue...but i dunno how big people are on arguing about power levels

http://forums.comicbookresources.com/forumdisplay.php?f=25

the dudes there will spent pages with well-researched page citations to whatever you want, though

the Endless aren't in charge of the entire Omniverse... they could certainly cross over (there've been crossovers between the universes before), but you could argue that they're only the representations of their concepts within the DCU

or you could say that the Marvel Universe Death is an aspect of Death of the Endless and vice versa... though i think Death of the Endless would have harsh wordds to say to Marvel Death

i dunno... its comic book metaphysics. its like those 'Can the Spectre beat the Living Tribunal?' arguments... you're better off not having them

i have argued that Dr Doom could make himself an Endless if he was in the DCU, but thats not part of this

The Endless are officially only running the show in the DCU but unofficially they've had a hand in affairs in multiple 'verses because they get used in so much crossover fic. They seem to be the standard fall-back when you want to involve a higher power. By the way, would those harsh words have anything to do with all the people who come back to life in the Marvel-verse?

nah, its more about Marvel Death being a manipullative b*ch to Thanos and making him kill entire star systems... and she still dosen't love him

things are just as bad in the DCU... Superman basically *willed* himself alive again

That's pretty messed up.I can see how it would seriously tick off Dee.

I'm not familer with the DCU and anyway Marvel's better known for pulling stunts like that. The term Marvel-death is practically a byword. By the by, I think Glamorweaver (no relation) did make a few good points but that's just my opinion.

it was a quick cameo... i think it was when Betty Brant died (she might have later come back to life) scripted by Peter David

i think

anyway, DC has people coming back from the dead... the way Superman did it, especially after they over-hyped him, was STUPID. they should have just had Didi say something like 'Yeah, you're Superman, the world needs you, i'm going to bend the rules for you' or whatever

i also think that Didi should show up when someone like The Flash dies... anyone major. but i know lots of people disagree

Not me. They should definatly use Dee more often. What's the point in having a good AP of death if you're not going to use her? And yeah, your idea as to how they could have brought back Supes sounds a lot better then what they actually did.

That would be The Books of Magic, the original, written by Neil.

makes u wonder though what happens after?

Does the dc multiverse get reborn?

Maybe it does through lucifers?
Maybe that is his part in the plan?

The dc multiverse would be reborn in some aspect, as it's physical form the brother, is needed otherwise the marvels brother would perish.

The Endless are the personification of thier aspects and retain abosolute control over them, so long as they remain in their realm. stepping out side of their realm diminishes their power.
