Posted Hide Post The first envoy could mean any number of things, whether it be the "Eblis O'Shaugnessy" equivalent for the death of the first Despair, whose name I don't believe was ever mentioned, or the first character to show up at the meeting in the Dream story in Endless Nights, or the first to set out in Season of Mists to try and collect the key from Morpheus, or Cain, who Morpheus sent to announce his coming to Lucifer, or any number of things.
