any recomendations you might have for me.

I've read Sandman:Endless Nights(loved it) and
alot of The Dreaming and liked it as well.

I'm sure I'm missing out alot of great work, so
any help would be nice.Thanx.

Hello!
If you've read Endless Nights, the best follow up is The Sandman. It's 10 volumes long (with some side volumes, Endless Nights being one of them) - start with Volume 1

What GMZoe said. Sandman is by far the best of Neil's work, and for his novels, I reccomend Good Omens, a satire on the apocalypse, (co-written by Terry Pratchett, a writer who does great parodies and humorous fantasy, who you should look into as well if you haven't already), and American Gods, which is by far the best of his solo novels.

Good luck with your readings, I hope you enjoy them, and be sure to come back and tell us how they go.

James

Wandering, but not lost.

"You are a Knight Errant. All of the fun of rescuing damsels, and none of the paperwork."

I was almost going to start a similar thread. My friend has been asking me to lend her books lately and I was wondering what Gaiman book you guys thought would be best to start her out with. She's not much of a fantasy reader so I wanna start her out slow! LoL Any suggestions?

ok, that question comes up frequently: what book can I hook my friends with? My standard answer (everyone has a different opinion) is for comics Sandman V.3 and for books Smoke And Mirrors. My reasoning is that both are collections of short stories so the new reader gets the most variety.
For someone not really into fantasy... well, Good Omens, American Gods, or Anansi Boys (available in late September). Probably not Stardust or Neverwhere as they are the most fantastical of his novels (doubtless people will pop in to say how great they are, but I'm making a recommendation for a non-Fantasy reader guys!)

General info: This site has a free ebook sampler of Neil's books available here, as well as excerpts posted on NeilGaiman.com (stories->books)

Thanks guys. I've loved al of his books so far and can't WAIT for Anansi Boys! I'll have to (reluctantly) let her borrow Smoke & Mirrors.
