Randolph Carter Member	Posted Desire's story was far and away my favorite from Endless Nights. Great art, interesting setting and it was very touching. In the into to the book, Gaiman says that it was based on an anecdote by George MacDonald Fraser. Does anybody know what it was?

In the past few days, we've been getting a *huge* amount of Notifications that are bouncing back to the mod email. If you've noticed that you haven't been receiving your normal notifications (ie, new posts, private messages, etc), please make sure that gaiman.board.mods@gmail.com is in your email's safe list. The majority of the bounce-backs seem to be coming from hotmail addresses, so if you've got a hotmail email, please make sure we're in your address book, even if you don't have notifications set up.
